Touran expressed special enthusiasm about this collaboration:
“This partnership marks a pivotal moment for Zal.ai, as it aligns perfectly with our mission to bridge the gap between a leading lifelong learning provider, such as the Roux Institute, and companies looking to contextualize courseware to their organization, help their employees apply and train on competencies virtually, and measure performance development through AI-driven simulation training and assessment,” said Kayvon Touran. “Collaborating with an institution as esteemed and innovative as Northeastern University not only amplifies our capabilities, but also reinforces our commitment to revolutionizing workplace learning.”
Tapping into his personal experiences through Northeastern’s co-op program, Touran attributes the value of experiential learning as key to how he shaped his professional outlook. His lived experience with the benefits of applying classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios underscores his belief in the potency for hands-on learning in enhancing educational outcomes.
Through this partnership, Zal.ai will extend the principles of experiential learning into the workplace by utilizing advanced artificial intelligence to create dynamic, personalized assessments that mirror real-world scenarios. Those insights can be utilized to generate performance reviews, career pathways, and other personalized and dynamic talent management solutions at scale.
Zach Blattner, Director of Partner Products and Programs at Northeastern University’s Roux Institute, commented on the partnership, saying, “Zal.ai’s unique approach to assessing skills and pairing them with recommended pathways will allow us to spend more time focusing on the design and delivery of high quality, applied learning experiences across analytics, AI and project management.”
The collaboration with the Roux Institute’s custom learning team will enable Zal.ai to deliver its cutting-edge AI-driven training solutions to a broader workforce audience, merging Zal.ai’s expertise in AI with Northeastern’s historic commitment to experiential learning that fosters habit-changing behavior. Together, they aim to transform the way skills are developed and assessed in professional settings, enhancing performance and career growth.
