Meet Amy Giggey-Burns

Leading a company can feel like driving 100 miles an hour with a cougar in the passenger seat. (Shoutout to Ricky Bobby). You’re trying to stay on the road, protect your team, reach your destination on time or better, and stay alive. I sit in that seat—and it makes me uniquely qualified to ride sidecar with my fellow founders doing the same. I’m Amy Giggey-Burns, Founder and CEO of Talent to Team, a fractional HR partner for scaling companies. We embed alongside executive teams to design people systems that match the pace and ambition of the business—without burning out the team or breaking the culture. My first career was raising money for causes and aligning volunteers to fulfilling projects and integrating them into our mission. Moving to the for profit industry, I found the startup ecosystem which felt equally aligned to cause, impact, and passion. After building the HR from scratch inside a scaling startup—raised by entrepreneurial CFOs instead of traditional HR leaders—I launched Talent to Team to recraft the way companies think about people strategy. Our model is grounded in mutualism: growth that’s both human and sustainable.
